The petitioner is the mother of a minor female child who is studying in the Kendriya Vidyalaya-I, Ishapore, North 24-Parganas.

She made an application before the Principal of the said school praying for transfer of her child to the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ballygunge as she along with her child is presently residing at Sonarpur at her parent's house.

The petitioner has impleaded her husband as respondent in the present writ petition.

There is a marital discord between the parties. The father of the child objected to the transfer.

Presently the learned advocate representing the father submits that he does not have any objection if the child is transferred from Ishapore to Ballygunge in the best interest of the child.

As it appears from the submission made on behalf of the parties that presently the father does not have any objection to the transfer of the child, accordingly, the Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya-I, Ishapore, North 24Parganas is directed to allow transfer of the minor child of the petitioner to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ballygunge. The father of the child is directed to give a written intimation to the Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya-I, Ishapore disclosing his no objection with regard to the transfer of the child.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
