Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody in excess of one year. The de facto complainant was examined at the trial. The petitioner, therefore, should be enlarged on bail. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioners. The seizures of the offending weapons were made from the petitioners.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary and moreover since trial is in progress, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioners. CRM (DB) 1227 of 2022 is rejected.
