Mr. Menon, learned counsel for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), submits that necessary steps have been taken to replace the revised mark statements -cumcertificates supplied earlier to the daughter of the petitioner by the final mark statements-cum- certificates subject to return of the said earlier mark statements -cum- certificates. The Board within a week from the date of receipt of the said earlier mark statements -cum- certificates, shall issue the final Mark statements -cum- Certificates to Rafiya, Tansam, the daughter of the petitioner which she would collect from her school.
Copies of the final Mark statements -cum- Certificates filed by Mr. Menon, be kept with the record.
Mr. Ganguli, learned counsel for the petitioner complains loss of one academic year of the daughter of the petitioner for the delay of the Board in issuing the final mark statements-cum- certificates.
Mr. Menon submits that it really is an unfortunate incident but it has occurred for the reasons beyond the control of the Board, he assures this Court that the Board would take utmost caution to avoid recurrence of such incident in future. WPA 8580 of 2023 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
