Nilotpal Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the University submits that due to the reasons beyond the control of the University, the enquiry proceeding could not be completed.

In that view of the matter, I extend the time to conclude the enquiry within one month after the upcoming Puja Vacation. The University shall conclude the proceeding against the petitioner within one month thereafter.

It is further clarified that the enquiry officer should be paid the venue charges, stenographer charges and other incidental charges in addition to the remuneration granted to her.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
