Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, although the land is recorded in the name of the petitioner in the Record of Rights, the private respondents are trying to disturb the possession of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State submits on instruction that police enquired into the complaint and found that there are disputes between the private parties relating to an immovable property.

Apparently, there are disputes with regard to the immovable property between the private parties. It is not for the police to resolve such disputes. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate Forum in accordance with law for resolution of such disputes. Interference by a writ court is not called for.

WPA 9690 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as costs.
