It appears from the report since the rejection of bail by this court there is progress in the matter before the trial court. Charge has been framed and date is fixed before the trial court on 30th June, 2022.

In view of the aforesaid development and the prima facie involvement of the petitioners in the murder which appears from statements of eyewitnesses, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Trial court is directed to take necessary steps to commence recording of evidence at the earliest and to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within one year from the date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment either of the parties.
