In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities.

The petitioner is as Assistant Teacher in the respondent school. The petitioner has been in service since 2009.

He had applied for transfer sometime on the ground of transfer, which was rejected.

His second application for transfer sometime in 2022 is still pending consideration before the school authority.

The school authorities are directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, positively by June 15, 2026 and if found to be otherwise eligible, forward the requisite 'No Objection Certificate' and declaration to the concerned D.I. by June 30, 2026.

With these aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 9.
