The State of West Bengal Mr. Atarul Hoque Molla Mr. Ali Ahsan Alamgir Ms. Riya Das Ms. Rabia Khatoon ...for the petitioner Mr. Ranadeb Sengupta ...for the State The learned P.P.-in-charge has submitted a report of verification of the documents filed by the petitioner in support of his contention that he is a citizen of this country. It appears from the report that the voter card submitted by the petitioner is genuine. However, the information relating to PAN Card differs from the PAN Card submitted by the petitioner and the computerized record corresponding

to the said PAN card number. The Aadhaar Card of the petitioner was also verified and it is found that the Aadhaar Card is genuine.

In view of the fact that the Aadhaar Card and the voter card of the petitioner are genuine, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. The petitioner shall be enlarged on bail of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat with further condition that if on bail, he must meet the Officer-in-charge of Swarupnagar P.S. once in a month till submission of charge sheet in Swarupnagar P.S. Case No.423 of 2022.

The instant application is, thus, disposed of. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
