Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by the alleged action of not granting permission to the petitioner for provisional export of the leather wallets in question in spite of its several representations and one of such representation was made on 24th February, 2023 being annexure P/5 at page 74 of the writ petition.

Petitioner has placed another representation dated 8th March, 2023 making similar prayer of release for provisional exports of the leather wallets

in question on condition of withholding of export benefits till the matter is finally adjudicated. Petitioner in support of his contention relies on an unreported decision of this Court dated 12th May, 2023 in WPA 8045 of 2023 (K.S. Nasir Ahmed, Proprietor of M/s. K.S. Impex - Vs - Union of India & Ors.) Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 8604 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation and take a decision for permission for provisional export, in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after considering the aforesaid order of this Court dated 12th May, 2023, within seven days from the date of communication of this order and communicate such decision to the petitioner.

With this observation and direction this writ petition stands disposed of.
