1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the parents-inlaw of the victim. The victim committed suicide at her parental home. The prime accused is the husband who is in custody. The death took place after about four years of marriage. The petitioners are no way connected with the alleged offence. The sister-in-law who stands on a similar footing was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 8.4.2025 in CRM (A) 1127 of 2025.

2. Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there are allegations against the in-laws about demand for dowry.

3. In view of the alleged role ascribed to the present petitioners, the fact that the prime accused is the

husband who is in custody and the fact that similarly circumstanced co-accused was granted anticipatory bail, I do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioners is required in this case.

4. In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
