Learned counsel for the petitioner in the public interest petitions being WPA (P) 119 of 2021 and WPA (P) 121 of 2021 does not dispute that there is no necessity to maintain the separate public interest petition. Hence, WPA (P) 119 of 2021 and WPA (P) 121 of 2021 are dismissed as not maintainable.

Learned counsel appearing for the Union of India and learned Advocate General appearing for the State are granted four weeks time to file their affidavits-inopposition, thereafter affidavit-in-reply be filed within one week.
