Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

It appears from the records that Chinsurah Police Station Charge-sheet No. 338 of 2021 dated 31st August, 2021 under Sections 420/406/120B of the Indian Penal Code has been filed against the respondent nos.5 to 7.

It is ordered that the charge-sheet shall be put to committal forthwith. It is also ordered that the trial must commence and be expedited.

It is submitted that in separate proceedings regarding the service of the private respondent nos.5 to 7, a sum of Rs.32,00,000/- is lying deposited with the High Court.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The reports of the Commissioner of Police, Chandannagar Police Commissionerate and Inspectorin-charge of Chinsurah Police Station are kept with the record.

In view of the disposal of the main writ petition, the connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 shall also stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
