The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent/police authorities are not taking any action on the basis of the complaint lodged by her. Ms. Chama Mukherjee, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that a criminal case being Madhyagram P.S Case No.

261/2020 dated July 11, 2020 under Section 498A/354/354A/354B/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the private respondent and the statement made under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has already been recorded in connection with said criminal case.

In view of such development of the matter the grievance of the petitioner given has been

properly addressed as such no further order need be passed.

The writ petition being WPA 6371 of 2020 is disposed of with the above terms.

The connected application being CAN 4942 of 2020 is also disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
