Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 17th April, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Thakurpukur Police Station, Kolkata Police, addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that Thakurpukur Police has registered FIR No.94 dated 6th April, 2023 under Sections 506, 114 of the IPC.

Let the investigation into the subject FIR be completed and final report be filed within a month from date.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned counsel for the petitioner only submits that the security to the petitioner should be appropriately addressed after reassessment. The petitioner continues to feel threatened and intimidated by the private respondents.

Thakurpukur Police shall assess the threat perception of the petitioner under the supervision of

the DCP of the concerned division of the Kolkata Police.

Appropriate measures shall be taken thereafter. The trial in respect of the charge sheet No.205/19 dated 21st December, 2019 should be expedited. The matter fixed on 2nd June, 2023 for farming of charges.

It is expected that the Ld. Sessions Judge expedites the trial and concludes the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from date.

The petitioner has lodged further complaints in addition to those already made. The same may be appropriately dealt with by the Thakurpukur Police. 8.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

10. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
