Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited submits that the petitioner participated in the proceedings before the assessing officer and that the final order of assessment was duly communicated to him.

The petitioner, however, seeks restoration of the electricity connection without having challenged the said final assessment order.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition. Accordingly, WPA 8638 of 2025 is dismissed as withdrawn.

This order, however, shall not preclude the petitioner from challenging the final order of assessment in

accordance with law.
