Adjournment is sought for on the ground that learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner is unable to attend the court today. However, in view of what the learned Advocate for the State has pointed out, we see no reason to keep this petition pending. This is an application for anticipatory bail. In the first paragraph of the petition it is stated that this is for the first time that the petitioner has approached this Court praying for anticipatory bail.

The patent falsity of the petition's statement has been demonstrated by learned Advocate for the State by producing a copy of an order dated October 6, 2020 passed in CRM 7552 of 2020, whereby the petitioner's earlier prayer for anticipatory bail was rejected by a Coordinate Bench.

The petitioner has indulged in falsehood. He has tried to hoodwink this Court. In view of his dishonest conduct, we are not inclined even to consider this application for anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM No. 3353 of 2021 is, thus, dismissed.
