And In Re : Jhulan Ghosh .... Petitioner Shabana Hasin ... For the Petitioner Zareen N Khan Ms. Nandini Chatterjee ... For the State The petitioner is in custody for more than 2 years and prays for bail.

Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down earlier considering the material on record.

Learned counsels for the State and defacto complainant oppose the prayer on merits.

There is no change of circumstance which calls for a favourable order for the petitioner at this stage. Prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

This Court is informed that out of 35 witnesses 12 witnesses have been examined till date.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. The application is disposed of.
