Mr. Anirban Tarafdar Mr. Soumya Nag Mr. Aditya Tiwari ....for the petitioner Learned senior counsel representing the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in 2018. Pursuant to this, he obtained bail. He regularly attended the trial Court. However, in 2022, on four consecutive occasions he was absent by filing adjournment prayer. On the fifth day fixed for framing of charge, there was a miscommunication and the petitioner was unable to take steps and warrant of arrest was issued. The petitioner wants to join the proceeding.

In view of the fact that the petitioner had been attending the trial Court after grant of anticipatory bail and then, bail and as he wants to join the proceeding, let the warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner remain stayed for a period of five weeks from this date. In the event the petitioner surrenders before the learned trial Court and prays for bail within a period of five weeks, the said prayer shall be considered by the learned trial Court in accordance with law and by keeping in mind the grant of anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of.
