This matter relates to correction of land record. It appears that the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer has issued a notice to Manoranjan Dey to submit order copy of T.S.

Case No.174 of 1997 along with other relevant documents for better appraisal of the matter and for further course of action. Any grievance of the writ petitioner with regard to the correction of the land record is to be decided in proper proceeding and not in public interest litigation.

There is no public law element involved in this matter. However, since it appears that the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer has called for certain information, it is expected that the said Officer shall conclude the proceeding within a reasonable time.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 4.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. 5.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
