Affidavit-of-service so filed be kept with the record. Petitioner complains that her husband and her son are being implicated in series of cases one after the other and still they are in judicial custody and have not been released. Petitioner complains that in spite of a representation being made to the Director General of Police, no information was sent to her regarding the list of cases which are pending against the petitioner's husband and son. Petitioner submits that such act of the police authorities is because of changing political allegiance and as a matter of political vendetta petitioner's husband and her son are being vested with the series of cases.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that almost 30 cases are pending against one of the petitioner's relatives.

Majority of the cases, I find are from the Sub-Division of Katwa. Accordingly, I direct the petitioner to approach the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katwa, who would direct the Inspector General of Police, Law and Order, West Bengal, to provide the list of cases in which the petitioner's husband or son is wanted further and which are pending against them. If such an application is filed, learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katwa, would ensure that within four weeks the information is made available to the petitioner, so that she can take effective steps in a court of law on behalf of her husband and son.

With the aforesaid observations, writ petition being WPA 9350 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
