Mr. S. P. Lahiri Mr. S.C. Dhara ..... for the petitioner Mr. Suman Sengupta Mr. Saikat Chatterjee ....for the State Learned counsel appearing for the State hands up a document of the Department of Correctional Administration dated 11.07.2022 which contains observations of the Finance Department confirming that the petitioner shall be paid the outstanding amount upon opening of detailed head "78-Outsourcing of Services" under the relevant scheme head. The Finance Department has also asked the Department of Correctional Services to come up with the proposal in accordance with the observation.

Since the State is not averse to clearing the outstanding amount to the petitioner, the Department of Correctional Administration being the respondent No. 2 is directed to clear the outstanding amount to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. WPA 8214 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.

The outstanding dues shall be paid along with interest of 6% from first April, 2021 being the date of the first application made by the petitioner till the date of realization.
