Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that despite deposition of the quotation amount, new connection has not been supplied to the premises of the petitioner.

Mr. Nayak, learned advocate for the distribution company, submits on instruction that the petitioner had taken up the cause of the local villagers and intimated the authority that till all the villagers get connection, he would not need a connection. It is further contended by Mr. Nayak that the equipments required to be installed by the petitioner for grant of such connection, are yet to be installed.

As and when the petitioner is ready to take connection and when the petitioner installs the equipments as required, the connection shall be effected to the premises of the petitioner, within a

period of two months from the petitioner intimating the Station Manager & Assistant Engineer, Khargram Customer Case Centre about his intention to take the connection and about having completed all formalities as required.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of server copy of this order.
