1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioner no. 1 is the wife of the complainant, the petitioner no. 2 is the sister-in-law and the petitioner no. 3 is the mother-in-law of the complainant. The present FIR was lodged by way of an application under Section 156 (3) of the Code. There is a delay in lodging the FIR earlier. The petitioner no. 1 had lodged an FIR against the other side, inter alia, under Sections 498A and 307 of the Penal Code.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State refers to the statement of the victim and the injury report. He submits that allegedly there was an attempt to hang the husband/de-facto complainant.
3. In view of the nature of allegations and the fact that the charge-sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
4. In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation, and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.
5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
