1. The Superintendent of Police, Barasat Police District, North 24 Parganas has filed a report dated 17th May, 2023, which is taken on record.

2. It appears therefrom that after his intervention, an FIR No. 193 of 2023 dated 1st May, 2023 has been registered and the respondent no.6 has been arrested.

3. It is expected that the investigation into the subject FIR is completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from date.

4. Deganga Police Station, Barasat Police District has also filed a report dated 1st May, 2023, which is also taken on record.

5. In view of the aforesaid, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
