1. None appears for the de facto complainant despite being informed on behalf of the State.

2. De facto complainant recorded a statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure where she acknowledges that the petitioner was known to her.

3. Materials in the case diary does not suggest requirement of placing the petitioner in custody at this stage.

4. In such circumstances we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer once in a week till the conclusion of the investigation.
