The petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Diamond Harbour Women Police Station in respect of a complaint dated March 1, 2023.

This Court is of the view that the petitioners have effective alternative remedy under the provisions of Section 156(3) of the Cr. P.C.

against the alleged inaction of the police in respect of the petitioners' complaint.

Counsel for the State submits that there is evidence that the petitioner no. 1 and the private respondent no. 19 are married and Mr.

Datta, leaned counsel representing such private respondent confirms the same.

It is further submitted by the counsel for the State that the petitioner and the private respondent have also lodged numerous complaints against one another.

In that view of the matter, this Court finds no inaction on the part of the police in the instant proceeding.

With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any further order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
