The petitioner is aggrieved in respect of the investigation being carried out in connection with Purulia (M) P.S.

Case No.

270/2019 dated 22.11.2019 as well as Purulia (M) P.S. Case No.97/2024 dated 10.03.2024. So far as Purulia (M) P.S. Case No.97/2024 dated 10.03.2024 is concerned, the police authorities after investigation of the case has submitted charge-sheet before the jurisdictional court. The said charge-sheet was submitted on or about 08.07.2024 and the case has been committed to the court of sessions on 08.10.2024. The learned District and Sessions Judge, Purulia on 10.12.2024 was pleased to transfer the case to the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court-II, Purulia and the case has been renumbered as SC No.239/2024. The case is in the process of

consideration of charges before the learned trial court.

Having considered that the case has progressed and the trial is about to commence, if the petitioner who has been cited as charge-sheet witness no.1 after evidence is of the opinion that further investigation is required or there are shortfalls, then appropriate application under Section 319 of the Code of Criminal Procedure be made before the learned trial court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 9383 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
