Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the 05.05.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.62 Rakib investigation in connection with Maheshtala Police Station case no. 357/24 dated 08.07.2024 which was registered under Section 103(2)/3(5) of the BNS. The investigation of the case is in progress and the police authorities are awaiting the FSL report.

However, having considered that the petitioner is aggrieved regarding the mode and manner of investigation, I am of the view that Superintendent of Police, Diamond Harbour Police District will monitor the investigation of the case and the forwarding of the report under Section 193 of the BNSS would be done by the Superintendent of Police before the same is submitted before the Jurisdictional Court.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 8651 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
