1.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for.

2.

Even on earlier occasion, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

4.

The writ petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction upon the respondents and their men and agent for absorption of the petitioner, who has requisite qualification for the appointment for the post of Assistant Teacher in the Primary School under Baranagar Municipality considering the qualification and service rendered by the petitioner without an information since 2004 in the same grade against permanent vacancy and other consequential relief.

5.

Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of the case, this Court is bound to assume that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the case anymore either on the ground that the purpose of filing this writ petition has been resolved or that he has abandoned his prayer due to passage of time. 6.

In view of the facts and circumstances of this case, the writ petition stands dismissed without any order as to costs.
