The revisional application has been preferred by the wife/petitioner praying for transfer of Matrimonial Suit No. 854 of 2022 pending before the Learned Fast Track 1st Court at Purba Bardhaman to City Civil Court, Kolkata, as the petitioner herself is residing at Kolkata.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the Matrimonial Suit has been filed in the Purba Bardhaman by the petitioner herein, where she also has a residence.

The petitioner/wife herein resides at Palar, P.S. Bhatar, District-Purba Bardhaman, PIN-713125 along with her child aged 11 years.

None appears for the opposite party, who also resides at Purba Bardhaman.

The prayer for transfer is thus rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit expeditiously, preferably within one year from the date of this order.

CO 1297 of 2026 is disposed of.

Parties to act on the server copy of this order. 9.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the concerned Courts for immediate compliance.
