Limited submission of learned counsel for petitioners is that the representation dated 31.03.2022 in this regard has already been made to respondent No.7 which has not been decided, therefore a direction be issued to the said respondent to decide the representation.

Learned counsel for petitioners has further submitted that earlier similar representation was referred to the District Nodel Officer, Malda. Therefore, the Block Development Officer may also be directed to consider this aspect. Learned counsel for petitioners has no objection to the same.

Having regard to the nature of the allegation made in the petition as also the prayer in the petition and the submission before us, we dispose of the petition directing respondent No.7 to duly consider the petitioners'

WPA(P) 206 of 2022 representation dated 31.03.2022 annexure P-8 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Urgent certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
