Ld. Advocate submits that for a considerable period of time, the petitioners have not been interrogated and, as such, they may be released on any stringent condition. Mr. Bapuli, ld. Addl. Public Prosecutor, produces the case diary and draws the attention of the court to the number of deeds which were forged at the instance of the present petitioners. The statement under section 164 of the owner of the land is also available, wherein the photographs have been altered and the property has been registered in favour of some other person.

Considering the nature and gravity of the offence and the complicity of the present petitioners, I am not inclined to release the present petitioners on bail at this stage.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(SB) 40 of 2024 is rejected.
