Mr. Sk. Sahjahan Mr. K.C. Das ...for the petitioner Mr. Santanu Mitra Ms. Rama Halder ....for the State Petitioner being aggrieved by the act and action of the private respondent nos. 7 to 10 approached this Court. The last of representation which was advanced to the IC, Egra Police Station is of 13.06.2022.

Report has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State which reflects that prima facie there is a dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondent as the police authorities have also drawn up proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on or about 21st April, 2023. Primarily, disputes relates to cultivation and harvesting of crops.

Petitioner claims that he has a Civil Court decree.

As substantial time has lapsed since the representation was forwarded to the Inspector-inCharge as well as Superintendent of Police concerned, I grant liberty to the petitioner to approach afresh with all the documents in his custody as also his contentions and/or his grievances.

The Inspector-in-Charge, Egra Police Station will consider the grievances of the petitioner ascertain the circumstances existing at the ground reality and thereafter take steps and communicate his finding to the petitioner preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of such representation. Report submitted in Court be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations WPA 8675 of 2023 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
