Learned counsel for the respondent-North Barrackpore Municipality submits that the revisional application challenging the demolition order dated 20.02.2023, has already been dismissed on 16.09.2025 by this court in C.O. 712 of 2024. In view thereof, learned counsel submits that the respondent-North Barrackpore Municipality shall take demolition action in terms of the order dated 20.02.2023 within a period of eight weeks after ensuing the Puja Vacation.

Since the petitioner has sought implementation of the demolition order dated 20.02.2023, and the same has been addressed in the submissions made by the respondent corporation, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition at this stage. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

Needless to mention, the respondent-North Barrackpore Municipality shall be bound by the statement made before this court.

There shall be no order as to costs.
