The petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the investigation of Amta Police Station Case No. 103 of 2025 dated 17.05.2025 is progressing. The grievance of the petitioner is that although a case for criminal breach of trust and cheating has been commenced, but in spite of issuing fake appointment letters, no case has been started for forgery.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the State has handed over the formal FIR as well as the letter of complaint which was addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Amta Police Station.

I have considered the materials on the foundation of which the writ petition has been filed as also the grievance of the petitioner. Having considered the grievance of the petitioner, I am of the view that the same is justified provided the materials are handed over to the investigating agency. As such, the petitioner is directed to hand

over the materials particularly with regard to the fake appointment letters. In case such documents are handed over, the police authorities would issue a seizure list in favour of the petitioner and thereafter alter, amend or modify the provisions according to which they intend to proceed and progress with the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 8667 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
