Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioners are not required. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that, the victim suffered grievous hurt. The victim in his statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) named all the petitioners. The medical report of the victim depicts sufferance of grievous hurt. The victim in his 161 Cr.P.C. statement named all the four petitioners.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2112 of 2022 is dismissed.
