Mr. Kairul ...for the private respondent.

When the matter is called on for hearing, the learned Advocate appearing for the private respondent seeks an adjournment for a week on the ground of absence of his senior.

However, it is evident, upon hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, that the dispute revolves around a refusal by the CESC Limited to give a new electric connection on the ground of 'splitting of load', WPA No. 9815 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach e the concerned Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO) with the same dispute as canvassed in the present writ petition.

If so approached, the concerned GRO shall decide the same in accordance with law upon giving

adequate opportunity of hearing to all interested parties as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from the date of such reference, without being prejudiced in any manner by any of the observations made herein.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
