Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears that charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner and three others under Sections 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act on 19th September, 2022 and warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioner. Since the warrant of arrest could not be executed, warrant of proclamation and attachment has been issued by the learned Trial Court vide order passed on 9th August, 2023. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a fortnight. The petitioner seeks stay of the warrant of proclamation and attachment till the said date. In view of the above, the revisional application being CRR 1402 of 2024 is disposed of directing the petitioner to surrender before the learned Special Court under NDPS Act, Berhampore, Murshidabad within a fortnight from

date. In the event the petitioner surrenders within a fortnight and applies for bail, the learned Trial Court shall deal with the same, in accordance with law.

The warrant of proclamation and attachment issued against the petitioner be stayed till 19th July, 2024. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
