For the State The petitioner was released on bail by an order passed on April 23, 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is still in custody since he has not been able to furnish local surety as directed.

In view of the predicament of the petitioner in furnishing local surety for which he is still languishing in custody despite being granted bail, the bail condition imposed vide an order passed on April 23, 2025 be modified to the effect that petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two registered sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas. However, the other conditions of bail shall remain unaltered. The application being CRAN No. 1 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.
