Admittedly, 1.6 liters of codeine (commercial quantity) was recovered from the petitioner. In view of the bar prescribed in Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the petitioner's prayer for bail cannot be allowed.

Accordingly, the application for bail being C.R.M. 3409 of 2021 is rejected.
