Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that all other co-accused were enlarged on either bail or anticipatory bail. The police filed charge-sheet inter alia under Sections 498A/304B/302/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code after conducting an investigation inter alia under Sections 498A/325/307/328/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 1253 of 2022 is rejected.
