CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5127 of 2020) is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration. Petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned Assistant Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submits on instruction that, the complaint of the petitioner was registered as a First Information Report (FIR) and that the investigation with regard thereto is in progress. The police authorities are yet to complete the investigation and submit the final report. In the facts of the present case, it would be appropriate to request the police authorities to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible and submit appropriate report before the jurisdictional Court.

W.P.A. 6469 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
