CAN 1 of 2020 (old CAN No.5130 of 2020) is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

A request dated February 14, 2020 for approval of service of assistant teacher is yet to be considered. State is represented.

In view of the facts of the present case, in my view, interest of justice would be subserved by requiring the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application dated February 14, 2020, in accordance with law. The respondent no.2 will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. The respondent no.2 is at liberty to hear such other parties and consult such documents that he deems appropriate. The respondent no.2 will pass a reasoned order which he will communicate to the petitioners forthwith thereafter. It is expected that, the respondent no.2 completes the entire

exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. No.6471 of 2020 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
