1. Petitioner submits he is the father of the deceased. He had acted without premeditation and had no intention to kill. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He contends petitioner had repeatedly assaulted his son as he had married a lady who was not of his choice.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was unhappy that his son had married a lady who was not of his choice. He assaulted his son repeatedly resulting in his death.

4. In view of the gravity of offence and evidence on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
