Petitioner complains of police inaction.
Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the police have registered the complaint as a First Information Report. She submits that, however, the private respondent is continuing with the torture against the petitioner.
Learned advocate for the private respondent submits that, the private respondent is cooperating with the investigation. The private respondents responded to the
notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In such circumstances, since the police authorities have registered a FIR and are investigating thereon, at this stage, further interference is not called for. W.P.A. 6475 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
