1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the parents-in-law and the sister-in-law of the victim/deceased. The marriage took place about six years ago. There is a child of two years belonging to the couple. The petitioners are in no way responsible for the death of the victim.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that as per the post-mortem report coupled with the statement of the post-mortem doctor, there was injury on the skull and fore-head of the victim, which was antimortem in nature. There are statements of independent neighbours who have stated about torture committed by all the in-laws. According to them, immediately after the incident all the in-laws fled away from the residence.

3. In view of the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

5. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
