1) Matter is heard in presence of learned advocate representing the petitioner.

2) Petitioner is wife and it is submitted that there is marital discord which prompted the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition seeking direction upon concerned police authority for taking steps against the petitioner's husband and inlaws.

3) However, on perusal of the statements made in paragraph 8 of the writ petition it appears that petitioner and her husband informed the police authority about certain incident based on which GD entry was made in Burtolla Police Station, Kolkata being No. 1891 of 2026 dated 20th March, 2026. Therefore, case which is being attempted to be made out on behalf of the petitioner by making submission is not corroborated from the statements made in paragraph 8 of the writ petition.

4) Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

5) Writ petition stands dismissed.

6) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
