1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appellant is not willing to proceed with the appeal.

2. The report filed from the office of the Berhampore Central Correctional Home is taken on record. It appears that the total detention period as on 4th October, 2024 is 8 years 2 months and 20 days.

3. In view of the fact that the appellant is not willing to proceed with the appeal, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
