Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that the petitioner has not yet constructed the meter room. It is stated that the connection will be effected as soon as the petitioner informs the authority upon completion of the said construction.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, contends that the meter room has already been constructed.

This Court does not find it necessary to enter into the factual dispute at this stage.

The petitioner is accordingly directed to communicate the completion of the meter room to WBSEDCL within a period of seven days from the date of this order. Upon such communication, if WBSEDCL is satisfied that the meter room has been constructed

and all other technical formalities have been duly complied with, the electricity connection shall be effected within a period of six weeks thereafter. Accordingly, WPA 8773 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
