Ld. Advocate for the petitioners submits that the absence in the court was unintentional and the petitioners, henceforth, would cooperate with the progress of the trial of the case.

It has also been submitted that the petitioners were earlier on bail.

Accordingly, I direct that, in case, the petitioners surrender/appear by 13th of May, 2024 and the ld. Trial court on inspection of the records finds that the petitioners were earlier on bail, they may be allowed to continue on the

same bail and bond. The warrant of arrest so issued, immediately after surrender, be recalled.

If the petitioners do not appear within the date so fixed, in that case, the ld. Trial court would, on the next working date, take recourse for harsher process of law by adhering to Section 82 of the cr.p.c.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1417 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
